Stuart FFA Chapter Claims 2020 

District X Leadership Development Events Sweepstakes Award

On Wednesday, January 15th, Stuart FFA members competed in the District X Leadership Development Events contest held at West Holt High School. The students had a successful day with three teams and 2 individuals qualifying for the state contest to be held in Lincoln in early April. 

             Following are the results of the members who participated in individual events: William Paxton - District Champion in Agricultural Literacy Speaking and state qualifier, Morgan Wallinger - District Runner-up in Cooperative Speaking and state qualifier, Colton Kaup - District 3rd place in Extemporaneous Speaking and state alternate, Grace Alder - District 3rd place in Natural Resources Speaking and state alternate, Cameron Sattler - District 4th place purple ribbon in Senior Division Public Speaking, Katilynn Kaup - District 4th place purple ribbon in Cooperative Speaking, Lainey Paxton - District finalist purple ribbon in Senior Division Public Speaking, Emma Alder - District finalist purple ribbon in Junior Division Public Speaking, Madison Stracke - District finalist purple ribbon in Employment Skills, Alex Jarecke - District purple ribbon in Employment Skills, Abigail Tubbs - District blue ribbon in Junior Division Public Speaking, Chiana Tubbs and Anthony Heiser- District blue ribbons in Creed Speaking, Ashlyn Kaup - District blue ribbon in Natural Resources Speaking, and Austin Nachtman - District red ribbon in Extemporaneous Speaking. 

            Claiming District Champion honors was a Parliamentary Procedure Team including Emma Alder, Grace Alder, Ashlyn Kaup, Katilynn Kaup, Cameron Sattler, Abigail Tubbs, and Taylor Schaaf. Also claiming District Champion honors was the Conduct of Chapter Meetings team consisting of Trenadi Dodds, Sydney Estill, Anthony Heiser, Jeffrey Miksch, Whitlee Paxton, Kyle Steinhauser, Chiana Tubbs, and Layne Wallinger. Claiming District Runner-up honors was the Parliamentary Procedure Team consisting of Madison Stracke, Reaghan Engel, Colton Kaup, Morgan Wallinger, Austin Nachtman, Wade Paxton, Bradly Miksch, and Jett Kunz. Placing 3rd and alternate to state was the Conduct of Chapter Meetings team including Lacey Paxton, Gracie Kaup, Addisyn Ketteler, Makayla Menke, Benjamin Paxton, Hunter Tubbs, Blake Wallinger, Dawson Heiser, Luke Ludwig, and Reagan Stracke. Receiving District blue ribbons was the Viticulture Ag Demonstration team consisting of Lainey Paxton, Tyler Steinhauser, Cadence Kramer, Tory Thurlow, and Taylor Schaaf and the FieldWise Ag Demonstration team consisting of Alex Jarecke, Ryan Steinhauser, Tyson Stracke, and Grant Kaup. Claiming 5th place honors in the district was the Junior High Quiz Bowl team including  Avree Blair, Cory Gubbels, Savannah Kramer, William Paxton, Jameson Estill, Megan Karo, Gavynn Mustin, and Benjamin Paxton. 

            The Stuart FFA Chapter claimed the District X Champion Sweepstakes at the 2020 Leadership Development Contest held in Atkinson. zzz

Conduct of Chapter Meetings Champion Team:
