Mr. Luke Vogel addresses 7-12 Students

Stuart Public School recently welcomed Luke Vogel, a 2003 Stuart Public Schools graduate and representative of Stuart Fertilizer and Rock County Agronomy, as part of the district's Habits & Leadership Program. The monthly program is designed to help students develop character, leadership, and life skills that contribute to success in school, the workplace, and their communities. Throughout the year, students explore themes that encourage personal growth and help prepare them for future opportunities.

During his presentation, Vogel spoke with students about October's theme of Communication, sharing how effective communication is essential in nearly every aspect of life. Drawing from his experiences in the agricultural industry, he emphasized the importance of listening, speaking respectfully, asking questions, and working collaboratively with others. He explained how strong communication skills help individuals build trust, solve problems, and become more effective leaders.

Vogel also reinforced the Habits & Leadership themes from earlier in the year, discussing the importance of Respect and Perseverance in both personal and professional success. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and hear firsthand how these qualities have influenced Vogel's educational journey and career path. Seeing a Stuart alumnus return to share his experiences provided students with a meaningful example of how the habits and leadership skills being developed today can create opportunities long after graduation. Stuart Public Schools appreciates Luke's willingness to invest in our students and support the district's ongoing effort to develop future leaders.
