Stuart FFA Chapter's December Member of the Month:
Brook Wallinger

Continuing the tradition of recognizing a “Member of the Month”, the Stuart FFA Chapter Officers will select one individual per month for the honor. This individual is selected based on performance within our FFA chapter and competitions, the diligence in their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and behavior and attitude towards the goals our FFA chapter puts forth.

This month, Brook Wallinger has been selected as our December Member of the Month. Brook is a sophomore, and has competed in Leadership Development Events since his 7th grade year. His most recent FFA accomplishment is being a member of the 2025 National Conduct of Chapter Meetings team, which earned a silver ranking. This team was State and District Champions in 2025, State 3rd Place and District Runner-Up in 2024, and alternate to state their 7th grade year in 2023. Brook has also competed in range judging, livestock evaluation, agriscience, and agronomy. In addition, he has been involved in many of our chapter’s community service activities.

Brook’s Supervised Agriculture Experience is a placement working for K & W Farms. This is an opportunity which allows his passion for agriculture to flourish, as he is a key employee, learning various aspects of farming. Brook has developed skills in planting, irrigating, harvesting, soil health management, and equipment maintenance. As a freshman, Brook’s Diversified Crop Production proficiency earned a district gold finalist rating and advanced to state review, where he received a bronze. He shows up with a positive attitude and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Brook is the son of Jay Wallinger and Emily Wallinger. We commend Brook for this honor, and look forward to his continued success in the future!
