Stuart FFA Chapter’s February Member of the Month:
Max Alder
Continuing the tradition of recognizing a “Member of the Month”, the Stuart FFA Chapter Officers will select one individual per month for the honor. This individual is selected based on performance within our FFA chapter and competitions, the diligence in their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and behavior and attitude towards the goals our FFA chapter puts forth.
This month, Max Alder has been selected as our February Member of the Month. Max is a sophomore, and has competed in Leadership Development Events since his 7th grade year. His most recent FFA accomplishment is being a member of the District Runner-Up Parliamentary Procedure team which will compete at the upcoming State FFA Convention. Additionally, Max was a member of the 2025 National Conduct of Chapter Meetings team, which earned a silver ranking. This team was State and District Champions in 2025, State 3rd Place and District Runner-Up in 2024, and alternate to state their 7th grade year in 2023. Max has also competed in range judging, livestock evaluation, agriscience, and meats evaluation. In addition, he has been involved in many of our chapter’s community service activities.
Max has two Supervised Agriculture Experiences. His first consists of raising a flock of chickens and selling eggs to several customers. Max also has a placement experience working for Duba Trailers where they customize stock trailers and sell them across the country. These are opportunities which allow Max’s passion for agriculture to deepen, as he plays many crucial roles. Max has developed skills in animal welfare, metal work, marketing, and customer service. As a freshman, Max’s Poultry Production proficiency earned a district silver rating. He shows up with a fun energy and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Max is the son of Steve and Jenny Alder. We commend Max for this honor, and look forward to his continued success in the future!
