Activities for Wednesday, May 6
Market Day #1 for the 2nd grade entrepreneurs! Today's booths included paper planes, baked goods, bookmarks, caricature art, and beaded keychains! Thanks to all who came to support these businesses.
The meet is rolling along on a cool and breezy day in Burke. Austin Connot has medaled in the triple jump and. Nigel Addison just placed 3rd in the 400. Kyler Schaaf has tossed a season best in the discus as well. More pictures are here.
The Burke meet is underway. Cameron Kaup and Zane Doke finish 1-2 in the shot put. Paityn Sheffield picks up 2nd in the high jump.

Ag Business Tours conclude with a visit to Hartington Tree, LLC. FFA members learned about different species of trees, transplanting trees, and tree care.
Next up on Ag Business Tours was Burbach Dairy. Students learned about dairy production and milk processing, and got to sample their signature flavored milk in glass bottles!
