Stuart FFA Chapter’s November Member of the Month:
Cheyenne Schutz
Continuing the tradition of recognizing a “Member of the Month”, the Stuart FFA Chapter Officers will select one individual per month for the honor. This individual is selected based on performance within our FFA chapter and competitions, the diligence in their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and behavior and attitude towards the goals our FFA chapter puts forth.
This month, Cheyenne Schutz has been chosen as the November Member of the Month. Cheyenne is a sophomore, and has competed in a variety of events since her freshman year. She has a passion for Career Development Events including Range Judging, Livestock Evaluation, Agriscience, Floriculture, and Meats Evaluation and Technology. She also competed at the Nebraska State Fair with a range board, which received a blue ribbon.
Cheyenne’s Supervised Agricultural Experiences reflect her vast interests. She has entrepreneurship ventures including a garden and training a horse. She also has a paid placement experience working for Southside Mini Mart. She has developed a variety of skills including planting, weeding, and harvesting her garden; managing nutrition and desensitizing her horse; and food safety and customer service working at Southside. As a freshman, Cheyenne’s vegetable production proficiency received a silver rating at district review. Cheyenne participates in our FFA chapter by contributing her time to attend practices, meetings, community service activities, and competitions, and does so with a smile on her face. Cheyenne is the daughter of Jimmy and Ashley Pittman. The Stuart FFA Chapter wishes to extend their congratulations to Cheyenne Schutz on receiving the November Member of the Month honor. We commend Cheyenne for her time and dedication!
